G-Strings and Curls is the fascinating story of the son of a Jewish entrepreneur and bookmaker brought up in 30s and 40s East End London. His fledgling hairdressing company survived being wrongly blamed for an horrendous tragedy at sea to become a multi-million pound empire centred on the cruise industry. But before that he'd been a bookseller, jazz musician (alongside a young Sir George Shearing among others) and band leader in Britain, Germany and South Africa. He was also a photographer, wrestling promoter and hypnotist. To describe Tony Kaye's life as interesting is an understatement. About the Co-Author Richard Seamon was born in London in 1960 and grew up in Ashford, Kent. He has by turns been employed as an archivist, a test cricketer, a civil servant and a toll collector at the Dartford Tunnel.* The internet re-vitalised his interest in writing in 2000 and he turned professional after Sharon, his partner, suffered a serious illness in 2002. G-Strings and Curls is his first published book. He has a website at www.richard-seamon.co.uk
